Bose Held At Sunbeam Church Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Bose were held April 27 in the Sunbeam Church, located north of St. Lawrence. The Rev. Douglas Barrows was in charge of the service and he was assisted by the Rev. R. Jacobsen, Edmonton, Canada. Mrs. Bose died April 24 at Yankton of infection as a result of a broken hip sustained in August. Pallbearers were Bernard Simons, Arnold Simons, Ed Jenner, Walter Jenner, Neil Creager and Art Kramer. Burial was in the GAR Cemetery. Millie Nelson Bose was born in Albert Lee, Minn., March 21, 1879. She was the daughter of Andrew and Sena Nelson and of a family of six children. The family moved to Oldham, where she lived in her early years. When she was 15 years old her mother died and, being the oldest, she was left with the responsibilities of caring for the home and the younger children. In 1912 she and her brother Ed Nelson filed a claim west of the Missouri River at Van Meter. They made their home there for a number of years. She was married June 30, 1920 to Henry Bose and they were the parents of one son, Richard. She was reared in the Baptist faith. Since her marriage she attended church in Burdette and Sunbeam and was a member of the sunbeam Church at the time of her death. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, one sister, Mary and a brother, William. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs., Richard Bose, a granddaughter, Judy; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Olson and Mrs. Emma Olson, both of Portland, Ore. and a brother, Ed Nelson, Cannon Beach, Ore.
