Description	:	Milo S. Neumen, age 68 of Kenmare, died Saturday, October 8th, 1988, at the Kenmare Community Hospital. His funeral will be held today, Wednesday, October 12, 1988, at 10:30 a.m., at the Nazareth Lutheran Church of Kenmare. Burial will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery of Kenmare with military graveside rites performed by the Heidenberg-Peterson Post No. 64 of the Kenmare American Legion, and the Kenmare VFW Post No. 7049. Milo was born on August 13, 1920 at Coulee, ND, a son of Harry and Gladys (Mayhew) Neumen. He farmed in the Donnybrook area when he was a young man and then served in the U.S. Army during the South Pacific Liberation from November of 1944 to November of 1946. Following his discharge, Milo returned to farm again in the Donnybrook area. He was married to Mildred Rud at Minot on July 6, 1950 and they lived at San Bernardino, CA, from 1952 to 1954 where he worked for Kaiser Steel. In 1954 they returned to farm East of Kenmare, during which time Milo drove a school bus for the Kenmare School District for 22 years. He retired from farming in 1986. Milo was a member of the Kenmare VFW Post and the American Legion Post. He is survived by his wife, Mildred of Kenmare; daughters Meredith Nyman of Colorado Springs, CO, and Arlene Neumen-Turner of Circle Pines, MN; grandsons, Michael and Paul Nyman, and Robert Neumen; brothers, Kenneth Roberg of Kenmare, and Dale Roberg of Donnybrook; sisters, Maxine Weltzin of Eagle Point, OR, Marcella Johnson of Minot, Annette Hawks of Seattle, WA, and Donna Williams of Portland, OR; and 24 nieces and nephews. Milo was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brothers. Thompson-Larson Funeral Home of Kenmare handled the arrangements.
