Clarke Milton "Bud" Thomas Clarke, 64, died yesterday at his Yountville home after a sudden illness. He had resided at 6902 Jefferson St. He was a native of Napa and then moved to Yountville with his parents. The family resided on Silverado Trail and he attended Yountville School. Mr. Clarke had worked for the State of California for 33 years, first on the State Game Farm and then at Napa State Hospital where he was a power and equipment operator. He had... Clarke Milton "Bud" Thomas Clarke, 64, died yesterday at his Yountville home after a sudden illness. He had resided at 6902 Jefferson St. He was a native of Napa and then moved to Yountville with his parents. The family resided on Silverado Trail and he attended Yountville School. Mr. Clarke had worked for the State of California for 33 years, first on the State Game Farm and then at Napa State Hospital where he was a power and equipment operator. He had retired in 1961. Survivors include his widow, Sonoma C. Clarke of Yountville; three daughters, Patricia Faria and Lois McKee, both of Vallejo, and Clarajoan Clarke of Yountville; two brothers, James Clarke of Healdsburg and Willis Clarke of Vacaville; a sister, Hilda Fraser of Pope Valley; and 14 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Treadway and Wigger Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Erwin E. Bolinger officiating.
