She was born May 12, 1865, in St. Joseph County, Michigan, and passed from this life Jan. 6, 1923, at 6:00 P.M. at Bellevue Hospital, Muscatine, Iowa, having reached the age of 57 years, 7 months and 9 days. The funeral was held at Letts from the home of her sister, Mrs. Ollie Parsons. She is mourned by her husband, Henry Hill, of Conesville, Iowa; three sisters, Mrs. Ollie Parsons and Mrs. Mark Furnas, of Letts, Iowa, and Mrs. Mary Ann Hutchinson of Augusta, Kansas; one brother, Samuel Curtis of Blue Mound, Kansas; six daughters and two sons, Mrs. Gertrude Throckmorton and Geo. E. Harrison of Chicago, Illinois, Mrs. Bertha Hilderbrandt and William Harrison of Gilman, Ill., Mrs. Edna Hoe of Billings, Mont., Mrs. Pearl Lemna of Medicine Hat, Canada, Mrs. Carrie Friant of Fairburg, Ill., Mrs. Nella Yaeck of Port Huron, Mich., and fourteen grandchildren. Two children preceded her to their reward.. The remains were laid to rest in the Lettsville cemetery to await the glorious Resurrection, when the dead in Christ shall arise 'Not in Corruption, but in Incorruption,' to reign with him who said 'I am the Resurrection and the Life.' "
