Description	:	Minnie A Glen, Popular Havelock Girl Dies.. Minnie A Glen, daughter of Mr and Mrs Shelby Glenn died at her farm home near Havelock at the age of 18 years, 5 months and 6 days. She was taken sick on June 20, 1930 but, it was not until a week before her death that typhoid fever developed and caused her death. She was baptized and recieved into full membership of the Methodist church in Havelock on April 4, 1926. She had graduated from the Havelock High School with the class of 1930 with high honors. About the... Read More	Minnie A Glen, Popular Havelock Girl Dies.. Minnie A Glen, daughter of Mr and Mrs Shelby Glenn died at her farm home near Havelock at the age of 18 years, 5 months and 6 days. She was taken sick on June 20, 1930 but, it was not until a week before her death that typhoid fever developed and caused her death. She was baptized and recieved into full membership of the Methodist church in Havelock on April 4, 1926. She had graduated from the Havelock High School with the class of 1930 with high honors. About the time she has taken sick, she and Dr. D. W. Glascock had planned as soon as she was able to be married at the little brown church. She is survived by her parents, her fiance DW Glascock, brother Lee and one sister, Mrs. Marie Johnson, and a large host of friends. She was very popular in this community due to her sunny disposition. Four of her classmates: Doris Grove, Marjorie Barth, Rose Schallan, and Julia Cornwell acted as flower girls. Other classmates Byron Boysen, Glenn Cooksey, Dale Cole, Clifford Steen, Gordon Lee, Lyle McVey, Donald Jacobsen, and Ronald Hauswirth, acted as pallbearers. The floral offerings were very beautiful and profuse. Burial was in the Washington Cemetery. A shadow of the deepest sorrow was cast over the entire Havelock Community when it became known that Minnie had passed away between five and six that morning. Minnie was loved by all who knew her.
