Mrs. Thurber was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, who passed away March 4, 1969; 3 brothers and 6 sisters. She leaves to mourn her passing, 2 sisters, Mrs. Valeria Rouse of Leoti, Kansas, and Mary Elizabeth Wehrman of Nelson; and a brother, Albert Wehrman of Nelson. Funeral services were held Friday, April 1, 1977, at 2 p.m. from the Klawitter Funeral Home in Nelson, with the Rev. Victor Schwartz officiating. Burial was in the Nelson Cemetery. Those from out of town attending the funeral of Minnie Thurber were Mr. and Mrs. C.P. Devitt of Lincoln, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Morehead and daughters, Gail and Lorrayne and Mr. and Mrs. Terrill Strauss, all of Denver, Mr. Marvin Rouse of Wichita, Kansas, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Henry and family of Wamego, Kansas, Mrs. Eugene Krabel of Hastings, Mr. and Mrs. Mogens Madsen of Superior and Mrs. Lars Pedersen of Hardy.
