Minnie B Alderson, daughter of Joseph and Sara Alderson was born Dec. 27, 1906 on a farm south of Schaller and died May 20, 1969 at her home north of Odebolt. She received her education in Cook Township rural school. January 26 1927, she was married to Harry Kessler of Odebolt at the home of her parents. They settled on a farm north of Odebolt where she lived the remainder of her life. They had three children, Raymond of Odebolt; Robert, who died in infancy and Ruth, Mrs. Carol Youngren of Odebolt. Mrs. Kessler was a member of the Odebolt United Methodist Church and the Ruth Circle. She died at her home following a brief illness. Cause of death was a cerebral hemorrhage. She had attained the age of 62 years, four months and 23 days. She is survived by her husband, Harry, two children Raymond of Odebolt and Ruth, Mrs.Carol Youngren of Odebolt; a son-in-law Carol Youngren of Odebolt, three grandchildren Bob, Janet and Jerry Youngren of Odebolt and one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Diersen of Ida Grove, one brother James Alderson of Schaller; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Mabel Alderson of Schaller and Mrs. Louise Alderson of Early. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Almer and Floyd and two sisters Beulah and Hattie.
