Read More	Kokomo Tribune, Kokomo, Indian, Tuesday, October 13, 1953, Page 2 Mrs. Minnie Belle Coulbern, 86, a resident at 113 Locke St., died at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at the home of her nurse, 620 W. Walnut Street. She had been ill for some time with disorders incident to age. She was the wife of William F. Coulbern, to whom she was married Aug. 25, 1888. Because of her ill heath they were unable to celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary last August. For 22 years Mr. and Mrs. Coulbern served as custodian and matron at the local YMCA and she was held in affectionate regard by the young men of that institution. Mrs. Coulbern was born July 14, 1867 at Alto, the daughter of George and Isabelle Smith. Al her life had been spent in this county. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Surviving with the husband are two sons, Don and Ivan Coulbern, both of this city; a daughter, Mrs. Lola Ross, Galveston R.R.1; a brother, George Smith, Enid, Okla.; a sister, Mrs. Hattie Kidder, Kokomo; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Three children are deceased. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday [October 16, 1953] in the Ellers Funeral Chapel with the Rev. J. McFarlane Smith officiating. Burial will be in Crown Point Cemetery.
