Description	:	FUNERAL SERVICES : Funeral services for MRS. MINNIE E. MOOREHEAD DeWEES, wife of John W. Dewees, were held this afternoon at two o'clock from the Church of the Transfiguration, Blue Ridge Summit, in charge of the Rev. A. O. W. Pfaffko. Interment was made in Bethel cemetery. Mrs. Dewees died Saturday morning at 10:30 at her home at Blue Ridge Summit. She had been in failing health for the last year and had been critically ill for the last three months. Mrs. Dewees died Saturday morning at 10:30 at her home at Blue Ridge Summit. She had been in failing health for the last year and had been critically ill for the last three months. She was born at Sabillasville, the daughter of Samuel and Amanda Willard Moorehead, and her early life was lived at Sabillasville. For the last 31 years she made her home at Blue Ridge Summit. She was aged 65 years. Mrs. Dewees was a member of the Church of Transfiguration. She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mrs. David Murrell of Pittsburgh; five sons, James L., Richard H., the Rev. William, all of Philadelphia, Frederick E., and Robert L., of Blue Ridge Summit. Two grandchildren also survive. She was the last of a family of eight children. Pallbearers were Wilbur Moorehead, Howard Willard, Vaughn Weyant, Merle McClain, Harry McClain and Joseph Haley.
