She was born December 25, 1910, Vermillion, Kansas the daughter of William and Minnie (Alderman) Isaman. She grew to womanhood in the Vermillion and Vliets communities and graduated from Vermillion High School. She married Pearl Clear on August 26, 1929 and they moved several times as they rented farms. She was born December 25, 1910, Vermillion, Kansas the daughter of William and Minnie (Alderman) Isaman. She grew to womanhood in the Vermillion and Vliets communities and graduated from Vermillion High School. She married Pearl Clear on August 26, 1929 and they moved several times as they rented farms. In 1941, while they were living in Frankfort, she worked at the Dime Store. Then they moved back out to a farm east of Vermillion. In 1948 they moved back to Frankfort and started a plumbing business. She worked for the Dime Store and Ted Trump Apron Factory. In 1978, she went to work for T&C Clawson Restaurant, then to T&C Clawson Convertors where she worked off and on until 1992 when she retired at the age of 82. Minnie was a member of the Frankfort United Methodist Church and did a lot of quilting with different groups. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pearl; son Dale; grandson-in-law, Wesley Westfall; grand- daughter-in-law, Theresa Spiller; brothers Henry, George, William, and Fred; and sisters, Mrs. Pearl Connet, Mrs. Della Shell, and Mrs. Florence Baldwin. She is survived by one daughter, Joyce (Lowell) Mellott, Lakewood, Colorado; daughter-in-law Sharon Clear, Kernersville, NC; 6 grandchildren, and 10 great-great- grandchildren. A family memorial service was held on May 6, 2012 at Green Mountain United Methodist Church in Lakewood, Colorado. A memorial service weill be held Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Frankfort United Methodist Chruch, Frankfort, Kansas. Interment will be at the Vermillion Cemetery, Vermillion, Kansas. Honorary pallbearers were Michael Spiller, Steve Clear and Kevin Spiller.
