Truitt Dies At East Monticello MONTICELLO, IND.–Mrs. Minnie M. Truitt, 72, of East Monticello, died at 7:30 a.m. Friday at the Scott Nursing Home, Lafayette, after a lengthy illness. The wife of Charles Dudley Truitt, she had been in a serious condition for the past week. Born Sept. 28, 1881, in Marshall County, Illinois, she was married Dec. 20, 1899, at Bell Plain, Ill., to Mr. Truitt. A member of the Church of the Nazarene here, she and her husband lived on a farm north of Monticello from 1912 until 1949 when the moved to this city, later going to East Monticello. Survivors are the husband and nieces and nephews. Friends may call after noon today at the Prevo funeral home, and last rites will be held there at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Carl Baker will officiate and interment will be in Riverview Cemetery.
