At the age of about two months, her parents moved to a farm near Campbell and she lived the rest of her life in Dallas County. She was united in marriage with Royal Nosher Briggs, October 23, 1901. Read More	Mrs. Roy Briggs Passes Away Minnie Myrtle Womacks, daughter of Lemuel T. and Nancy J. Womacks, was born Sept. 20, 1881 in Commerce, Iowa and passed away in Des Moines February 20, 1948. At the age of about two months, her parents moved to a farm near Campbell and she lived the rest of her life in Dallas County. She was united in marriage with Royal Nosher Briggs, October 23, 1901. They made their home on a farm west of Grimes until 1904. Then they moved to the Maple Grove neighborhood where they lived until they came to Waukee. Into their home were born three daughters, Mrs. Helen Bunnell, of Waukee; Mrs. Roxie Frazier and Mrs. Bertha Beisner of Tripoli, Iowa. Mrs. Frazier preceded her mother in death in 1930. Those who will miss her are her husband, her two daughters, two grandchildren, Roxie and Carl Beisner, two brothers, Chester C. of Rockwell City, Iowa, and Harry A. of Des Moines and other relatives and many friends. She was always deeply interested in her family and home.
