Description	:	Mollie Christina Burmeister Gamble died May 16, 1957 at the home of her daughter, Mildred Hartman in Harlan, at the age of 81 years, 10 months and 28 days. She had been seriously ill for three or four days due to a stroke. Mollie Burmeister was born in Jennse county, Patavia, New York July 18, 1875 to Dorathe and Theodor Burmeister. Read More	Mollie Christina Burmeister Gamble died May 16, 1957 at the home of her daughter, Mildred Hartman in Harlan, at the age of 81 years, 10 months and 28 days. She had been seriously ill for three or four days due to a stroke. Mollie Burmeister was born in Jennse county, Patavia, New York July 18, 1875 to Dorathe and Theodor Burmeister. Early in her life they moved to a farm east of Persia where she lived for many years. She was married to Milo Edison Gamble at Persia, February 13, 1899. They resided east of Persia until retirement in 1942 when they moved to Persia. To this union two children were born; Howard Raymond and Mildred Evolyn. She was a member of the Methodist church of Persia and has been affiliated with church since early in life. She was an honorary member of the W.S.C.S. She is survived by her husband, Milo; a daughter, Mildred Hartman; six grandchildren and two nieces. Her son Howard, preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at the Pauley Funeral Home at 1:15 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the Persia Methodist church, with the Rev, Lawrence Beals officiating. Burial was in the Shelby Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jess Lytle, Farmer Pearch, William Harmsen, Roy McGavern, Herman Kuster and Gus Hamann. Harlan Tribune Harlan, Iowa May 24, 1957
