Mr. Dissinger died Saturday, Aug. 21, 1999, at his home. He was born Jan. 2, 1918, in Lawrence, the son of Herbert James and Louise Anne (Leonhard) Dissinger. He graduated from Oskaloosa High School and had lived there since 1922. Mr. Dissinger served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a farmer and dairyman. He married Dorothy C.
