Read More	Morris Tharaldson, age 90, of Valley City, formerly of Dazey, ND, died Friday, November 21st at the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, November 26th at the Lerud Schuldt Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will be in the Dazey Cemetery, Dazey, ND. Morris Irl Tharaldson, the son of Emil and Emma (Christenson) Tharaldson, was born April 6, 1924 in Dazey, ND. He grew up and attended school in the Dazey, ND area. He also farmed and raised cattle with his brother Russell. He married Annabelle Eggert in Moorhead, MN on December 13, 1945. Shortly after their marriage, Morris was drafted to serve his country during World War II. He served with US Army from 1945 until 1947 and was stationed in Germany. After his discharge, he returned to the Dazey, ND area where he farmed until he was hurt in a farming accident. After his rehabilitation, Morris began doing construction work and later started his own construction company. Morris served as a Special Deputy of the Barnes County Sheriff’s Office from 1975 until 1979. Morris enjoyed his cement work, painting, playing cards, dancing and gardening. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, grandchildren and later his great-grandchildren. Morris was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Dazey and the American Legion Club. Morris is survived by his loving wife Annabelle; four daughters, Darlene Johnson, Deborah Boury, Gloria Oswald and Leona Barnard; two sons, Jerome and Clayton; 14 grandchildren; nine Great-grandchildren; one brother, James Tharaldson; one sister, Phillis Quick. Morris was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Howard, Russell, Dick, Bobby and Gordon; one sister, Marilyn Dahl; one grandson, Michael Hannig; two sons in law, Willie Treitline and Richard Johnson.
