She was the third child of the late George “Eddie” and Viola (Tanner) Veinotte formerly of Clearland. Loved and survived by sisters, Verlene (Richard) Veinotte, Elizabeth (Darrell) Corkum, Heather Robar, Veronica (Murray) Pierce, Janine (Wayne) Levy and brothers, Bernard Veinotte, Rodney (Cheryl) Veinotte, Kevin (Sylvia) Veinotte and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers, as well as other family members. At a very young age she moved to Lake Pleasant to care for an elderly lady; while there, she married Clifford Emino who passed away in 1970. During their time together they had two daughters, Catherine Emino and Denise (Jason) Freeman. She thought the world of her grandchildren, July Raine, Ira Lee and Mason Freeman. Later in life she met a companion, Mack Stuart, who passed away in 2017. During their time together, they had a son, Jerome (Shirley) Emino. She was a special daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She was a lover of life, always putting someone else before herself. She was a very hard worker and for years she worked on farms in the valley from planting time to the end of harvest season; pre-Christmas season she made wreaths for businesses. She loved her pets, was a great cook, gardener and enjoyed taking her mom on drives throughout the valley. Her most enjoyable time of the year was Christmas. There will be no visitation or flowers by request. A public graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 16 in Springfield Baptist Cemetery, Springfield with Rev. Lester Simpson officiating. Donations may be made to the family, Canadian Cancer Society or Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
