Her grave is unmarked, but is beside the grave of her husband. Besides Bettie Jones Harris, Lucy H. Jones Harris and her husband Richard Harris also had twin girls, Mary Hawkins Harris (1872-1873) (Memorial # 41452070) and Martha Jones “Mattie” Harris (1872-1890)(Memorial # 42942615). Mattie J. Harris is listed in the 1880 Census Record for the household of Richard Harris and his second wife, Lucy H. Jones Harris. Their twin daughters are buried near them in Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh.
