Description	:	OLDTOWN,MARYLAND -- Margaret Mae (Benson) Wolfe, 77, of Oldtown, faithful friend of her Lord, went home with him and her husband and loved ones on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999, at Memorial Hospital Hospice Unit, Cumberland. Margaret's life was devoted to the care and concerns of her family. She is mourned with great love and respect by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and their families. Margaret's life was devoted to the care and concerns of her family. She is mourned with great love and respect by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and their families. Born Feb. 13, 1922, in Oldtown, she was the daughter of the late George S. and Minnie (Peterman) Benson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd George Wolfe, March 11, 1995; six brothers, James Edward, Wilbur, Chester, Harry, George and Joseph Benson; three sisters, Mary Elizabeth Belle Benson, Minnie Helen May Benson, Elizabeth Grabenstein; and son-in-law, Al Martin. Mrs. Wolfe was a homemaker. She was a member of Oliver's Grove United Methodist Church, Oldtown. She was a faithful worker and member of Oliver's Grove United Methodist Church. She taught classes there for more than 20 years. She had served as President of United Methodist Women (W.S.C.S.), Secretary to Administrative Board, Treasurer of the Church School and U.M.W., Chairperson of Administrative Board, Church School Superintendent and Lay Leader, attended workshops with the Board of Education, studied child psychology under Dr. John Kirk of the University of Maryland and was a qualified leader for Parent-Child study sessions in Allegany County. Surviving are two sons, Sonny Wolfe and wife Brenda, Ashburn, Va, and Eddie Wolfe and wife Pat, Hagerstown; four daughters, Georgia M. Martin, Mary June Mieszkowski and Rosalee A. Wolfe, all of Cumberland, and Sandi O'Connor and husband Mike, LaPlata; two sisters, Flora Crafton, Crestwood, Illinois, and Ellen Elfritz, Cumberland; 12 grandchildren, D'Ann Caron and husband Paul, Malden, Mass., Pam McMullan and husband Dave, Clear Spring, Sgt. Joe Wolfe and wife Lisa, Sterling, Va., Don'a Evans and husband Eric, Westminster, Mark Wolfe and wife Tammy, Hagerstown, Larry Wolfe and wife Terri, Jefferson, Keith Stup and wife Dee, Upper Marlboro, Julie Wright and husband Christian, Hagerstown, Kevin Stup, LaPlata, Jeff Mieszkowski, Huntington, W.Va., Michelle O'Connor and Misty O'Connor, both of LaPlata; and 15 great-grandchildren, A.J. McMullan, Joseph Wolfe, Seth Wolfe, Antonia Wolfe, Rachel Wolfe, Michael Caron, Jeremy McMullan, Stephen Caron, Matthew Wolfe, Molly Wolfe, Katherine Wolfe, the Caron triplets, Laura, Benjamin and Daniel Caron, and Ashleigh Stup. Friends will be received at Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at Oliver's Grove United Methodist Church, Friday at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Henning officiating. Friends will also be received at the church one hour prior to services. Interment will be in Oliver's Grove Cemetery, Oldtown. The family requests donations be made to Oliver's Grove United Methodist Church through Rosalee Wolfe, 16400 Wolfe Hollow Lane, Oldtown, MD 21555. Pallbearers will be grandsons as listed above.
