Description	:	CLAY CENTER-- Marian Williams, 91, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at Medicalodge, Clay Center. Mrs. Williams was born March 29, 1921, at Clay Center, the daughter of Herbert H. and Esther R. (Hoffman) Hildenbrand. She graduated from CCCHS in 1940. She married Donald "Doc" Williams on June 10, 1943. He preceded her in death on Feb. 28, 1973. She worked for J.C. Penneys for 30 years, USD 379 Food Service Dept. for 22 years and retired in May 2012. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, American Legion Auxiliary, Miriam Circle and was a past Red Cross Volunteer. Survivors include one... Read More	CLAY CENTER-- Marian Williams, 91, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at Medicalodge, Clay Center. Mrs. Williams was born March 29, 1921, at Clay Center, the daughter of Herbert H. and Esther R. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, American Legion Auxiliary, Miriam Circle and was a past Red Cross Volunteer. Survivors include one daughter, Karen Bryan of Clay Center; one son, Michael and wife Judy Williams of Clay Center; one sister, Delores Copeland of Wichita; two grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and six great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19 at the First Presbyterian Church, Clay Center, with the Rev. James Byers officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday with the family greeting friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Clay Center or the Meadowlark Hospice, in care of the funeral home, 918 7th St., Clay Center, KS 67432.
