Description	:	CLAY CENTER-- Shirley A. Mossburgh, 87, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Medicalodge, Clay Center. Mrs. Mossburgh was born Oct. 23, 1925 at Maceyville, Kan., the daughter of Owen and Mary (Wickham) Nelson. She grew up in Concordia and graduated from Concordia High School. She married Thomas "Tommy" Mossburgh on April 20, 1946 at Osborne, Kan. They made their home in Clay Center. Read More	CLAY CENTER-- Shirley A. Mossburgh, 87, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Medicalodge, Clay Center. Mrs. Mossburgh was born Oct. 23, 1925 at Maceyville, Kan., the daughter of Owen and Mary (Wickham) Nelson. She grew up in Concordia and graduated from Concordia High School. She married Thomas "Tommy" Mossburgh on April 20, 1946 at Osborne, Kan. They made their home in Clay Center. She worked as a bookkeeper for Key Milling in Clay Center for 20 years and then for Siebold Motors, retiring in 1985. Her husband preceded her in death on April 30, 1994. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary, where she was past president. She was also preceded in death by two brothers. Survivors include two sons, Larry Mossburgh and wife Deniece of Clay Center and Mike Mossburgh and wife Deb of Windsor, Colo.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6 at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Clay Center, with the Rev. Susan Sawyer officiating. Inurnment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, at a later date. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home, where the family will greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Shirley Mossburgh memorial fund to be designated later in care of the funeral home, 918 7th St., Clay Center, KS 67432.
