Description	:	Myra C. Otto, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the Phelps Memorial Health Center, Holdrege, Nebraska. Myra was born September 4, 1952 at Kearney, Nebraska, the sixth of seven children born to Gilbert Oscar Leroy, I and Marjorie "Marge" R. (Roper) Anderson. Myra received her education from Holdrege (NE.) High School, graduating with the class of 1970. In later years, Myra pursued higher education from Hastings (NE.) Community College. On February 5, 1972, she was united in marriage to Terry Mayo in Holdrege, Nebraska and to this union son, Travis was born. On March 12, 1982, she was united in marriage to Norman Carroll Otto and to this union two children were born: Lucas and Myranda. The family made their home in Holdrege, Nebraska where Myra was employed by Becton-Dickenson for ten years. She and Norman's marriage later ended. Myra then went to work for First National Bank of Omaha in Kearney, Nebraska for many years. Myra was a very strong willed woman. She will be admired and remembered for her strength and endurance in her fight. Myra enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, trying to spoil them every chance she could. She also enjoyed cooking and crafting, especially stamping cards. Myra loved the Christmas season and enjoyed starting a tradition of making Christmas trees for each of her children and grandchildren. Myr as preceded in death by: parents, Myra was preceded in death by: siblings, Charles Anders, Joan Dyke, Jonnie Huff and Gilbert Oscar LeRoy "Lee" Anderson, II. Myra leaves to mourn her passing; children, Travis Mayo and his wife, Alisha of North Platte, Nebraska, Lucas Otto and his wife, Amber of Holdrege, Nebraska and Myranda Otto of Holdrege, Nebraska; grandchildren: Treyton and Ashlyn Mayo of North Platte, Nebraska and Hudson and Madden Otto of Holdrege, Nebraska; brother, Steve Anderson of Funk, Nebraska; sister, Linda Zabel of Minnesota; and a host of relatives and friends.
