Mrs. Lawson died from a heart attack, suffered at her late home of her son, Mr. Paul C. Lawson, in Richmond, on Friday morning. She had been visiting with her son and his family in the Virginia capital for the past two months, and, was in comparatively very good health until stricken on Thursday. Mrs. Lawson, whose maiden name was Myrtle Wharton, spent most of her three score and ten years in Crisfield. She and the late C. Gray Lawson, for more than forty years connected with the railroad here, were married in 1889. From their union three children survive: Mr. Paul C. Lawson, who has been residing in Richmond for the past eighteen years; Mrs. B. S. Mills Jr. (Elizabeth), and Mrs. Arlie Riggin (Dorothy), of this city. Mrs. Harry E. Tilghman of Crisfield, is a sister; and Mr. Walter Wharton, now residing in Philadelphia, and Mr. Edward D. Wharton, now residing in San Francisco, and several grandchildren, also survive. Mrs. Lawson was a member of Immanuel Methodist church, and was active in its services for many years. The pall bearers were: Elliott Richardson, George W. Daugherty, John H. McGrath, Walter R.
