Funeral rites were held in the Lutheran church. Born September 3, 1880 in Guthrie County, Iowa, she was 57 years, 5 months and 25 days of age. She was married in 1898 to Augustus B. Hamilton in Iowa. To this union were born three children. In 1910, Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton moved to South Dakota, settling on a farm in Hand County, southwest of Miller. They left his farm five years ago, and made their home in Miller. For the past few years, Mrs. Hamilton has been failing in health. In her girlhood she united with the Methodist Church. She was a wonderful mother, a devoted wife and helping neighbor, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She leaves to mourn her loss, her beloved husband and three children: Winifred, Gordon and Bernice, who live in and near Miller: 3 sisters, Mrs. J.C. Harper, Mrs. B. G. Sullivan of Des Moines, Iowa; A.B. Burris, Des Moines, Iowa; three granddaughters, two grandson, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
