Her death, tho not entirely unexpected, came as a great shock to her many friends in this community, and to her parents, whose only remaining child she was, the blow was indeed severe. Myrtle took sick seven weeks ago, of rheumatism and malarial fever, which later developed into typhoid fever. The funeral sermon was preached at the Coolidge home Thursday afternoon, by Rev. E. W. The remains were taken to Central City on Friday morning's passenger, to be interred by the side of her brother, Ernest, who died about six years ago at nearly the same age. A large number of sympathizing friends accompanied the bereaved relatives to the last resting place of their loved one. Myrtle grew from infancy to young womanhood in this community and she was universally beloved. To her sorrowing parents, left childless by this visitation of the grim reaper, Death, The Express extends the heartfelt sympathy of all our people.
