Description	:	Myrtle Wrangham, age 102, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 5. She past from this life the same way she lived it, with dignity and grace. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 9, at Legacy United Methodist Church, with Rev. Kermit Culver officiating. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Monday, at Bismarck Funeral Home from 6 – 8 p.m. and continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Myrtle was born Dec. 18, 1909 at Chandler, MN to Arthur and Eliza Ann Snyder. She was one of nine children. The family moved to Dawson, ND in 1918 and Myrtle graduated from high school there. On Dec.11, 1928 Myrtle married Thomas Wrangham. He had been a widower and had three children whom Myrtle happily and lovingly raised as her own. They went on to have nine more children. They farmed near Bismarck until 1964 when Thomas retired and they moved into Bismarck. Myrtle then worked for several years at Bismarck Hospital School of Nursing in the housekeeping department. Thomas was a WWI veteran and died in 1983. During the years on the farm Myrtle belonged to the Prairie Rose Homemakers Club. She was active in the VFW Auxiliary as a lifetime member (75 years), the DAV Auxiliary as a charter member. She was a member of Legacy United Methodist Church in Bismarck. During her long life Myrtle was special to everyone who knew her. She was a genuine lady who had a quick smile and bright eyes that greeted each visitor to her room at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center. Myrtle was a prolific letter writer and kept her family well connected and informed. She was loved dearly by all of her family, especially her children ,who are so thankful to have had her as their mother. Myrtle shared her strong Christian beliefs with her family. She cherished each member of her family and grieved the loss of each one who preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons: Dwight (Linda) Wrangham, Bismarck, Kenneth (Glenda) Wrangham, Upland, IN, two daughters: Elaine Bohrer, Las Vegas, NV, Jacalyn (Tom) Hoglund, West Fargo, ND and daughter-in-law Ann Wrangham, Las Vegas, NV. Myrtle also leaves 34 grandchildren, 76 great grandchildren, 80 great-great grandchildren, and 7 great-great-great grandchildren. She is survived by one brother: Allen Snyder, Beaverton, OR with whom she shares a birthday, and several nieces and nephews. Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sons: Fay Wrangham, Gayle Wrangham, Wayne Wrangham and Norlyn Wrangham, four daughters: Fern Lauf, Eva Rogers, Beverly Fode and Jo Anne who died as an infant. She also mourned the loss of sons-in-law: Bill Rogers, Albert Lauf, Bob Bohrer and Ted Fode, daughters-in-law: Carol Wrangham and Audrey Wrangham, grandsons: Earl Wrangham, Monte Rogers and Tyler Hoherz. Great grandchildren: Scott Christensen, Noel Wrangham, Colton Green-Hoherz, Sarah Alber and James Rogers.
