Zion, Iowa, July 5, 1875, and died at the home of her brother Charles Campbell, Oct. 9, 1935. All of her life was spent in Van Buren county, Iowa, in and near the home where she was born and in which she spent the last two months of her life. Rep. 7 Nov. 1935 Mrs. Myrtle Patrick Myrtle Luella Patrick, an only daughter of Bethel and Mary E. Campbell, was born near Mt. Zion, Iowa, July 5, 1875, and died at the home of her brother Charles Campbell, Oct. 9, 1935. All of her life was spent in Van Buren county, Iowa, in and near the home where she was born and in which she spent the last two months of her life. On March 25, 1903, she was married to Perry Patrick at Ottumwa, Iowa. To them were born three children all of whom died in early infancy. She is survived by one brother, Charles Campbell, and his family; the family of her deceased brother, T.E. Campbell, who died Dec. 7, 1933; also, a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ludema Gilchrist, of Fairfield, Iowa; numerous other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services at Mt. Zion Presbyterian church were conducted by Rev. Paul P. Jackson, of Sibley, former pastor of First Congregational church of Keosauqua, assisted by Rev. H.C. Irvine, pastor of the Presbyterian church at Mt. Zion. Burial was at Forbes cemetery in Van Buren township. Source: Van Buren Co.
