Description	:	Mrs. Lee Morey passed away at 4:45 Sunday morning at the Hawarden hospItal following an operation for gall bladder trouble. Mrs. Morey had been in poor health for some time but was bedfast only about three weeks preceding her death. She submitted to an operation Saturday morning and although she rallied from the operation she passed away the following morning. The members of the Woodmen Circle attended the services in a body. Burial was made in the Catholic cemetery. Myrtle M. Muth, eldest daughter of John Muth Sr., was born on the Muth home farm in Plymouth county, ten miles southeast of Hawarden, Oct. 23, 1886, and passed away in Hawarden Aug. 14, 1932, at the age of 45 years, 9 months and 21 days. She grew to young womanhood on the home farm and attended the public schools in Plymouth county. She was united in marriage with Lee Morey in Sioux City April 17, 1911. Following their marriage they resided in South Dakota for a time and then moved to Westfield where they lived for a short period. They came to Hawarden in September, 1913, and she made her home in this city continuously since that time. She was reared in the Catholic faith and was a member of the Woodmen Circle lodge. She is survived by her husband; her aged father, John Muth Sr.; two sisters, Mrs. Joe Luken of LeMars and Mrs. Max Wilson of Hawarden, and seven brothers, Henry, John Jr.; Thomas, William, Walter and Austin Muth of Hawarden and Melvin Muth of Sioux City. She also leaves one stepdaughter, Mrs. E. T. Engell of Clam Falls, Wis. Mrs. Morey was held in high esteem by a wide circle of neighbors and friends who extend, sincerest sympathy to the members of her family. Relatives and friends from out of town who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Muth and daughter, Mrs. Carl Rasmussen, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Muth, Mrs. Maude Miller, Chester Willey, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Gamble and Mr. and Mrs. John Clark of Sioux City; Mrs. J. Eddy of Lewiston, Minn.; Mrs. George Muth and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Muth of Ireton; Mr. and Mrs. J. Gifford, Mr. and Mrs. E.E. Willey and Mrs. N. Latendresse of Beresford; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Trautt and Mrs. James Trautt of Akron; Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Luken and children, Mr. and Mrs. L.R.
