On Aug. 10, 1944, she married John M. Anderson in Smith Center, Kan. He died in 2002. She married Cecil Pace. Survivors are: husband, Cecil Pace; sons, J. Lee Anderson and his wife, Donna, of Placitas, N.M., Dale Anderson and his wife, Nancy, of Denver and Ray Anderson of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; brothers, Denzil Schnacker and his wife, Dodi, of North Platte, Wayne Schnacker and his wife, LaRea, of Kearney, Loren Schnacker and his wife, Pearl, of Edmond, Okla., and Stanley "Jack" Schnacker and his wife, Ruth, of Forsyth, Mo.; and sisters, Eldeen Busch of Wood River and Cleo Driewer and her husband, Stu, of Rockaway Beach, Mo. Myrtle grew up in the Amherst and Miller areas and attended school at Immanuel Lutheran School north of Amherst. She and John lived in California before moving back to the area in 1946. They farmed north of Amherst until they retired and moved to Amherst.
