Description	:	Mrs. Frank Chrismore died at the home of her daughter Mrs. John Shives Saturday morning, June 23, 1917. She had been living with her daughter for nearly a year, during which time she had been bedfast with hardening of the arteries. At the time of her death she was aged 69 years, 2 months, and 3 days. She had been living with her daughter for nearly a year, during which time she had been bedfast with hardening of the arteries. At the time of her death she was aged 69 years, 2 months, and 3 days. Nancy Hunt was born April 14, 1848, at Gosport and lived in Marion County practically all of her life. She was a daughter of William and Nancy Hunt. She was united in marriage to Frank Chrismore in the fall of 1868 in Warrensburg, Missouri, where the family made their home for a year. To this union were born six children, four boys and two girls, one boy dying several years ago. Those living are: Josie, wife of Harry Wheaton, Dallas; Cora, wife of John Shives, Knoxville; Elba Chrismore, Gosport; Pearl Chrismore, near Olive Chapel; and Ernest Chrismore, near Pleasantville. Besides these she leaves two sisters, Mrs. M.A. Chrismore, Ottumwa; and Mrs. Sarah L. Perschall, Blackburn, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mrs. Chrismore was a member of the Gosport Methodist Protestant Church, which she joined at the age of 17 years. She held the same membership during all her life. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Gosport Methodist Protestant Church conducted by Rev. Teague.
