Although she had been in ill health for some time, her condition did not become serious, until Sunday night. Complications incident to old age caused her death. Mrs. Nancy (Green) Cline was born in Tennessee. She came to Iowa with her parents when she was twelve years of age, settling in Louisa county. On Dec. 25, 1859, she was united in marriage to Michael Cline, who preceded her in death. For many years after their marriage they made their home on a farm two miles north of Iowa Junction. Surviving her are seven children— Jas. K. of Lone Tree, Fred of Riverside, S. B. of Columbus Junction, Michael of Chicago, Mrs. Wm. Flake of Aitkin, Minn., Mrs. Chris Rayner of Iowa City, Mrs. H. E. Slaughter of Lorimor. A brother and a sister also survive. After leaving the farm near Iowa Junction Mrs. Cline came to Lone Tree to reside. For the past few years she has been making her home with her children. Mrs. Cline’s pleasing personality and kind disposition won her many friends during her journey through life, and she will long be remembered. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made, according to information received by the Reporter shortly before going to press.
