Description	:	The funeral services for Mrs. A. T. Jakway were held Friday afternoon, July 28th at the family residence of our city at 1 o'clock and at the Methodist Church at Aurora at 2 o'clock. At her home, 133 Sixth Ave. S. E. Oelwein, Iowa, on Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock, July 26th, 1933, Mrs. A. T. Jakway fell asleep into that long, dreamless sleep that knows no awakening, except that glorious awakening in the Celestial Home where partings are no more. Nancy Cordelia Russell was born in Essex County, Crown Point, New York, September 7, 1851, where she grew to womanhood and attended public schools. After graduation from high school, she attended and graduated from collage at Albany, New York, after which she taught in the schools in Crown Point. She was the daughter of Isaac and Betsy Russell and was one of a family of six children, all of whom preceeded her in death, except a brother, Carlton Russell of Crown Point, New York. Mr. Russelland his family visited his sister here only a month ago. On March 1, 1882, at Crown Point, New York, she was united in marraige with Abraham T. Jakway, who with one daughter, Jessie Thomas of Artesian, South Dakota, and one son, Carl Jakway of Oelwein, together with two grandchildren, Geraldine and William Jakeway of Oelwein survive, as well as other relatives.
