Nancy Jo Jedlicka was born December 23, 1966, in Iowa City, the daughter of Kenneth and Twyla (Parsons) Jedlicka. She graduated from Tipton High School in 1985. She married Chris Pruess on May 18, 1996, at the Methodist Church in Mechanicsville. She was employed as a secretary at Tipton Middle School for 16 years. She had an infectious personality and selfless heart. She was known for her great sense of humor, beaming smile, laugh and beautiful blue eyes. She loved her job and helping children. She had a deep appreciation for flowers, especially fond of Gerber Daisies and enjoyed decorating her home for the seasons. Above all, she loved the time she spent with her family and her beloved pugs, Darla and Ray. Surviving are her husband, Chris; two daughters, Ali (Clay Worrell) Cawiezell of West Branch and Samantha Pruess of Ely; two sons, Tyler (Emily) Cawiezell of Des Moines and Turner Pruess of Tipton; two grandchildren; four sisters, Debbie (Clifford) Taylor and Peggy (Bruce) Flockart, both of Mechanicsville, Dixie (Dennis) Pelzer of Tipton and Becky Gilbert of Bettendorf. She was preceded in death by her parents, one niece, Jennifer Flockhart and one nephew, SPC David Behrle, who was killed in Iraq while serving in the U.S. Army. Fry Funeral Home
