Campbell, died March 27th at 3:45 A.M. after an illness of several months, of heart failure, her eldest brother, Dr. I. B. Jones, having passed away one week previously in Watson, Mo. Campbell, died March 27th at 3:45 A.M. after an illness of several months, of heart failure, her eldest brother, Dr. I. B. Jones, having passed away one week previously in Watson, Mo. She was 77 years, 3 months and 2 days old. The deceased was born Dec. 25th, 1832 in Green County, Tennessee. Her maiden name was Nancy Jones. She was united in marriage to A. S. Campbell on Sept. 24, 1854. To this union nine children were born - seven sons and two daughters, one son, James Douglas died in early youth; the others still survive. She joined the M.E. Church in early youth, of which she was a consistent member until 1870, when she united with the Cumberland Presbyterian church by letter in Watson, Mo. Coming to Nebraska in 1886, she joined the Presbyterian Church in Fullerton, Nebr. Without ostentation she was a devoted loving wife of the highest type. A devoted self-sacrificing loving mother. Her mother died when she was quite young. There were ten children in her father's family, three of whom survived. She was born on the anniversary of Christ's birth (Christmas) and died on the day we celebrate as resurrection day - Easter morning.
