Read More	Nancy Kathryn Spyres, 78, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2010 at her home in Arbuckle. She was born on October 1, 1931 to Asa and Violette Kalfsbeek. She married Max Spyres on December 27, 1950. They were the parents to four children. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was also an avid gardener and decorator. She loved spending time with her family and at her cabin on Snow Mountain. She loved her community and held a special place in her heart for the Arbuckle Fire Department, which her family has been involved with for several generations. She is survived by her daughter Daurice Myers and sons Peter and Blaine Spyres, all of Arbuckle, grandsons Knute (Rhonda) Myers, Ted (Rebecca) Myers, Barry (Minnie) Spyres. Granddaughters, Jada, Jilda and Brittany Spyres. Great Grandchildren, Max, Betsy, Macey, Vaughn and Luke Myers, Haven Wright, Elliot and Lola Spyres. She was preceded in death by her husband Max, son Nathan and great grandson Asa Myers. Nancy's wish of only a Rosary will be held on Thursday August 12, 2010 at 7:00 pm at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Arbuckle. To comply with Nancy's wishes there will not be a gathering following the Rosary Service.
