Description	:	Nancy L. Prevett, 43, of Hillsboro, died Friday, Nov. 18, 2005, in her home after a battle with cancer. Born Jan. 18, 1962, in Mt. Pleasant, she was the daughter of Mahlon and Carole Shull Millard. ON Aug. 19, 1989, she married Gregory Ross Prevett in Oakland Mills. Mrs. Prevett worked at Wal-Mart in Mt. Pleasant. She also owned and operated the Small Town Video Store in Hillsboro. She attended Mt. Pleasant schools. Pleasant, she was the daughter of Mahlon and Carole Shull Millard. ON Aug. 19, 1989, she married Gregory Ross Prevett in Oakland Mills. Mrs. Prevett worked at Wal-Mart in Mt. Pleasant. She also owned and operated the Small Town Video Store in Hillsboro. She attended Mt. Pleasant schools. She was a member of the Hillsboro City Council and was active in fundraising efforts for the American Cancer Society. She enjoyed puzzles, playing games on the Internet, crocheting, and crocheting hats for cancer patients in the Cedar Rapids and Mt. Pleasant hospitals. Survivors include her husband; her mother of Hillsboro; one son, Gregory James Prevett of Ottumwa; four daughters, Ivy Morris and Jacque Fett, both of Hillsboro; Samantha Prevett of Mt. Pleasant, and Heather Prevett of Ottumwa; five grandchildren; and one brother, Sydney Millard of New London. She was preceded in death by her father, one sister, one brother and her grandparents. Family and friends are invited to a potluck in Nancy's honor at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Hillsboro Community Center in Hillsboro. A memorial has been established for the family.
