Mr. Stonebreaker had a large family when she was married to him, besides she has cared for and helped raise a number to whom they had given a home .... No daughter could have been more faithful than was Mrs. Troub, who took the whole care of her these many years, not daring to leave her alone. The funeral was conducted at the house on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Mr. Woodburn officiating. He had married her forty-three years ago. Those of the family that were present were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Stonebreaker and son, Harry, of Circleville, Jane Stonebreaker, of Soldier, Mrs. Dollie Bacon, of Holton, Mrs. Lou Hayes, Mrs. Troub, Mr. and Mrs. Lou McDonald and Miss Laura Baker, of Holton. The interment was beside her husband and one son in Larkin cemetery .... The Holton Recorder, August 17, 1911. Nancy Sarchet Stonebreaker died at her home five miles east ofHolton, Kansas, August 10, 1911. Her parents came from France and located in Ohio in the early part of the 19th century. Orphaned at an early age, the records were lost and her exact age is unknown ... Stonebeaker Sr. was at Drake Thursday and Friday on account of the death and funeral of his step mother, Mrs. Joseph Stonebreaker, who died Thursday, aged 95 years. Soldier Clipper, August 2, 1911.
