A native of Orange County, she was the daughter of the late Lytle H. and Neppie Kersey McAdams. She was a school teacher in the Orange County Schools for several years. She was a member of Chestnut Ridge United Methodist Church. She was survived by her husband, two daughters and three sons, three sisters, one brother, and two great grandchildren.
