Description	:	Naomi Day Kohne, 104, of Baker WV and formerly of Mathias WV died April 1, 2015 at E.A. Hawse Health Center in Baker. Miss Kohne was born March 2, 1911 in Mathias WV, and was the daughter of the late Rev. Joseph and Hester Wilkins Kohne. She graduated from Linville-Edom High School in 1933. She worked for the late Rev. and Mrs. I.C. Sanger of Linville until 1952. When her father died she returned home and dedicated the majority of her adult life to care for her mother (16... Read More	Naomi Day Kohne, 104, of Baker WV and formerly of Mathias WV died April 1, 2015 at E.A. Hawse Health Center in Baker. Miss Kohne was born March 2, 1911 in Mathias WV, and was the daughter of the late Rev. Joseph and Hester Wilkins Kohne. She graduated from Linville-Edom High School in 1933. She worked for the late Rev. and Mrs. I.C. Sanger of Linville until 1952. When her father died she returned home and dedicated the majority of her adult life to care for her mother (16 years) and her younger brother (38 years). Naomi was a life time member of the Mt. View Church of the Brethren near Lost City WV. She is survived by a sister; Orpha Miller of Harrisonburg and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother; Davis Kohne, two sisters; Ruth Gay and Geneva Strawderman. Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday at the Mountain View Church of the Brethren near Lost City. Officiating will be Revs. Landis Dove and Olin Bailey. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. before the service at the Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends can view anytime Sunday at the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway, or an hour before the funeral service Monday
