She was baptized and confirmed at Peace Lutheran Church. She was also active in Luther League while in school. She attended school in Hazen graduating from Hazen High School in 1986. While in High School she worked for August and Darlene Eslinger at Hardware Hank, she loved working there. She also spent her share of time helping take care of her nephews and nieces whenever she was needed. After graduating she went on to attend UND in Grand Forks, ND. While going to school in Grand Forks she worked for the Target stores. She graduated from UND in 1991 with an accounting degree. After graduation she moved to Minneapolis and found a job with Health Partners where she was employed for several years. She decided to go on to school and get her graduate degree in accounting. She graduated in 2010. She was working for Coloplast US at the time her death. Naomi was a very active and happy person, always had a smile for you and loved to plan events, travel, she spent many hours doing her scrapbooking. She also loved to read. You could say she was always ready to try anything at least once. She looked forward to our family camping trips every summer, loved having everybody together. Naomi loved taking vacations which she would take one vacation to somewhere relaxing every year usually where there were beaches and more sightseeing. She is survived by two sisters & two brothers and 14 nieces & nephews. And their children; Brad Mattheis, Hazen, ND; Miles & Heather Mattheis Bismarck, ND. Naomi was excited for the court journey she was on and had many goals in sight for herself and looking forward to her trip back to Turks and Caicos at the end of her journey. She is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Alma Mattheis and grandparent
