Description	:	Naomi Virginia Savage March 16, 1923 - February 11, 2018 Naomi V. Savage, 94, of Frostburg, MD, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at WMHS Frostburg Nursing and Rehab Center, Frostburg, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. Born March 16, 1923, in Terra Alta, WV, she was the daughter of the late William and Nora (Rodeheaver) Savage. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Nadine Gay; infant grandson, Daniel Walker and son-in-law, Joe Sullivan. Born March 16, 1923, in Terra Alta, WV, she was the daughter of the late William and Nora (Rodeheaver) Savage. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Nadine Gay; infant grandson, Daniel Walker and son-in-law, Joe Sullivan. She always called Sang Run and McHenry home, even when she could no longer live there. Naomi worked for many years as a cook in area restaurants, but her main focus was always taking care of others. She leaves an imprint on many lives, but especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Oak Grove Church of the Brethren. She is survived by her sister, Jaunita (Jerry) Onesi, Uniontown, PA; two daughters, Linda (George) Walker, Frostburg; Denise Sullivan, Cumberland, MD; four grandsons, George (Lu Ann) Walker, Nathan (Laurie) Walker, Matthew (companion, Anna) Sullivan and Jacob (Jenessa) Sullivan. She also leaves behind her beloved great-grandchildren, Elizabeth (Cornelius), Kaitlyn (Brian), Tyler, Nathan, Ava and Zoey. She was also "Nana" to Brandy, Matt, Carter and Julia, with a special place in her heart for great-great granddaughters, Riley, Caroline and Elly. She was loved by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of WMHS Nursing & Rehab Center for their kind and compassionate care the last 10 months and a special thanks to the "Haven" Unit. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 26722 Garrett Hwy., McHenry (Accident), MD, on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 5-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Timothy Westrom officiating.
