Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at the Federated Church in Sutton with Pastor Eric Biehl officiating. Burial is at Sutton Cemetery in Sutton. Sutton Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Nathalie was born Oct. 18, 1935, in Sutton, Neb., to Leonard and Berniece (Benson) Johnson. She received her education in Sutton, and graduated from Sutton High School. She went on to obtain a teaching certificate, and taught in a one-room country school northwest of Sutton. She married Harold Douglas, and to this union four children were born. While married to Harold, the Air Force afforded them the opportunity to travel the world. On June 3, 1983, she married the love of her life Provine Green, and they resided in Red Cloud, Neb., before making Sutton, Neb., their home. In October of 2009, Nathalie and Provine moved to Lincoln. While living in Sutton, they were big supporters of their church, Lions Club and school activities. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a lifetime member of the Federated Church in Sutton, Neb., a member of the Sutton Legion Auxiliary, and a former member of the Sutton Lions Club. She enjoyed playing bridge, card making, and reading. She is survived by her children, Terri Luckie of Sylvania, Ga., Gina (Ron) Zlomke of Lincoln, Neb., Doug (Kathy) Douglas of Sutton, Neb., Lori (Delane) Kauk of Lincoln, Neb.; stepchildren, Jennifer (David) Johnson of Ketchikan, Alaska, Jeff (Cindy) Green of Lincoln, Neb., Joyce Sherwood of Lincoln, Neb.; nine grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; her special angels at the Legacy Terrace; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Provine.
