Description	:	FLORENCE - Mrs. Nelle Jones Lewis, native of Mullins and widow of William Albert Lewis, celebrated her 100th birthday on January 20, 2014 at McLeod and passed away on January 22, 2014. Mrs. Lewis was born in Mullins, a daughter of John Wesley and Susannah Victoria Floyd Jones and was the last surviving sibling of her family. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Mullins for over forty years and later a member of First Baptist Church in Florence. Read More	FLORENCE - Mrs. Nelle Jones Lewis, native of Mullins and widow of William Albert Lewis, celebrated her 100th birthday on January 20, 2014 at McLeod and passed away on January 22, 2014. Mrs. Lewis was born in Mullins, a daughter of John Wesley and Susannah Victoria Floyd Jones and was the last surviving sibling of her family. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Mullins for over forty years and later a member of First Baptist Church in Florence. Mrs. Lewis was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Lewis is survived by, her daughter: Lynn L. Simmonds of Florence, Miriam Leeke of Columbia and Gayle (Bill) Nanke of Key Largo, Fl.; her grandchildren: Alicia Leeke of Columbia, Greg Robertson and David (Laura) Robertson, both of North Myrtle Beach and Robert (Yvonne) Simmonds of Greenwood; and three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon, January 24, from 1:00 until 1:45 P.M. at Cox-Collins Funeral Home of Mullins. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Cedardale Cemetery in Mullins, with Rev. Chadwick Iverson officiating.
