Description	:	Nellie Blanche was the daughter of Orrin Philip Wheeler and his second wife Blanche E. Mosse Wheeler. Several documents guess at several dates for her birth year, but in June of 1880 she was 3 years old, which her mother certainly would have remembered just off hand, and considering the birth years of flanking siblings. Being born in February, that would make Nellie's birth year 1877. Nellie's infant brother Willie was born in November 1878, and died at nine months in August 1879. That would have made it impossible for Nellie to have been born in February of 1878, 1879, or 1880 unless she conceived Willie as soon as she had Nellie. Orrin Philip Wheeler married Blanche Mosse on November 10, 1869 in Cass County, Missouri, where his whole family had migrated to after 1860. The marriage was later filed in Harrisonville on November 29, by traveling Pastor James R Lacy, which has led to some confusion on the wedding date. The name has also been mistaken for Morse because some people aren't familiar with the old handwriting of double "s's" being the first one large (looks like a cursive small "f" and the second one small. Sons Arthur Thomas and Martin Luther would later list their mother's maiden name as Moss on their Social Security applications, but the transcription for Nellie Blanche listed her as Blanche Perman, which has led to much confusion. In 1940 Blanche E. Wheeler is living with her son Charles T. Wheeler. They both die in 1941. Prior to the marriage to Blanche Mosse in 1869, Orrin had lost his first wife Nellie, who was last seen on the 1860 New Haven, Vermont census. There appear to be no surviving children with Nellie.
