Description	:	WAITE, NELLIE C.—Mrs. Nellie C. Waite, widow of the late William R. Waite, died at her home in Geneva, Neb., at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 1917, aged 56 years 5 months and 8 days. Nellie C. Donovan was born February 2, 1861 at Dundee, Kane county, Ill. She came to Fillmore county with her parents in 1869. She was married to William R. Waite of Madison township, September 3, 1876, at Geneva. They lived on a farm in Madison township until 1885, when they removed to Furnas county, Nebraska. They returned to Geneva in 1890, removing... Read More	WAITE, NELLIE C.—Mrs. Nellie C. Waite, widow of the late William R. Waite, died at her home in Geneva, Neb., at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 1917, aged 56 years 5 months and 8 days. Nellie C. Donovan was born February 2, 1861 at Dundee, Kane county, Ill. She came to Fillmore county with her parents in 1869. She was married to William R. Waite of Madison township, September 3, 1876, at Geneva. They lived on a farm in Madison township until 1885, when they removed to Furnas county, Nebraska. They returned to Geneva in 1890, removing to Colorado in 1902. Her husband having died, Mrs. Waite returned to Geneva in 1916 on account of failing health. Mrs. Waite is survived by three children, Mrs. Elsie Sanders of Los Angeles, Cal., Elmer R. Waite of Geneva, and Ernest W. Waite of Carlsbad, N.M. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Donovan of Geneva, and four sisters, Mrs. Mary Tallmadge of Momence, Ill., and Miss Winifred Donovan, Mrs. Lillian Donavan, and Mrs. Waldo E. Propst, all of Geneva. Mrs. Sanders was unable to come here on account of illness. Ernest Waite and family were here during Mrs. Waite's last illness. The funeral took place from the Geneva Congregational church at 3 p.m. this Thursday afternoon and was conducted by Rev. B.A. Warren. The interment was in the Geneva cemetery.
