Daughter of Milton Wright and Sarah Hill OBITUARY THE RUSSELL UNION-TRIBUNE Russell, Iowa Thursday, December 2, 1954 NELLIE ELLEN HATFIELD Nellie Ellen Wright, eldest daughter of Milton and Sarah Wright, was born March 21st, 1874 in Wright Twps., Wayne County, Iowa, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas McKinley in Russell, at the age of 80 years, 8 months and 2 days. She was united in marriage to Melvin A. Hatfield on March 16, 1898. They established their home in Wayne County, where they became the parents of two children, a son Eddie, who died in infancy, and a daughter, Zella Glen, who with the husband and father and son-in-law, Thomas McKinley, survive her. She was converted and united with the Christian Church in Confidence in 1930. Her home and family were her loving concern during her entire life. Mrs. Hatfield was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister and 4 brothers. She is survived by 4 nieces, 6 nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed in the entire family circle. Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 26th, at 2 p.m. in the Woodman Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. A. E. Beals. Burial was in the Confidence Cemetery. Relatives attending the funeral from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Otto Hatfield, Newton, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Huntley, Guthrie Center, Mr. and Mrs. John Eddy, Council Bluffs, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Thompson, Grinnell, Mr. and Mrs. Jess George, Osceola, Mr. and Mrs. Theo Hatfield, Newton, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bunce, Newton, Mr. Forest Hatfield, Newton, Mr. and Mrs. John R.
