Usher, daughter of Francis and Clara Usher was born at Fairmont, Nebraska, Nov. 19, 1889, and passed away at the home, two and one-half miles west of Fairmont at 1:15 a.m., Aug. 10, 1943, having reached the age of 53 years, 8 months and 22 days. She grew to womanhood in Fairmont, where she was graduated from high school with the class of 1906. In the spring of 1909 she moved to Omaha and was employed by the Fairmont Creamery Company. While still in Omaha, she was married to Lee Marget of Fairmont on Nov. 25, 1914. Three children were born to this union; a daughter, Marion, now Mrs. Emanuel Suhr of Highland Park, Illinois, and two sons, George of Fairmont, and Buster, in the United States Army. Her health began to fail about three years ago. Everything possible was done to help her find health again. She loved her family and friends and made a determined effort to live, but God chose to call her to her heavenly home, where pain and suffering are no more. She has been a member of the Fairmont Methodist church since the time of her marriage. Her thoughts were always more of others than of herself. She was a devoted wife and a fine mother. The survivors are her husband, Lee Marget; Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Suhr, Mr. and Mrs. George Marget and daughter, Nancy Ann; the son, Buster; three brothers and three sisters and a host of relatives and friends who sympathize with the family in their hour of sorrow. Funeral services were held at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Methodist church, Rev. R.W. Sandsted officiating. Music, three solos by Oliver Moul, accompanied by Mrs. A.A. Ashby. Interment was in the Fairmont cemetery, with Kritner morticians in charge. Pallbearers were Cal McElvain, Jess Schroeder, Harry Kelch, Max Galusha, Robert Bettger and Chester Plock. Buster Marget, in training with the Army at Marietta, Pa., arrived at home Thursday night, being called by the death of his mother, for whom services were held Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Emanuel Suhr, a daughter, arrived Wednesday, accompanied by her husband, who is with the anti-aircraft branch of the Army at Fort Sheridan, Ill.
