Description	:	Lee W. Marget, the son of Herschel and Lillian Marget, was born December 20, 1891, in Winnebago County, Illinois. When he was but a child of 14 months, he came with his parents to Nebraska, settling on a farm near Fairmont, Nebraska. Practically all of his life was spent in this locality. Marget, the son of Herschel and Lillian Marget, was born December 20, 1891, in Winnebago County, Illinois. When he was but a child of 14 months, he came with his parents to Nebraska, settling on a farm near Fairmont, Nebraska. Practically all of his life was spent in this locality. He attended the public schools, graduating from the Fairmont high school in 1908. On November 25, 1914, he was united in marriage to Miss Nellie Usher. To this union were born three children, Mrs. Marion Suhr of Grand Island, George L. of Beaver City, Nebraska and Buster Marget of Fairmont. Mrs. Marget passed away on August 10, 1943. Mr. Marget spent his whole life in agricultural activities. He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and was also a member of the Modern Woodmen of American. He had been a member of the Methodist Church in Fairmont since 1905. He had been in failing health for some time. His final summons came on Sunday, September 12, 1954, and he sleeps, being aged at the time of his death, 62 years, 8 months and 22 days. He leaves to mourn his loss, the three children mentioned above; four grandsons; five granddaughters; one brother Chester, who resides in Denver, Col., besides a number of more distant relatives and a large circle of friends and acquaintances. Funeral services were held at the Fairmont Methodist Church Wednesday, September 15, with Rev. R. W. Sandsted officiating, assisted by Dr. Charles B. Hankins. Oliver Moul sang "In the Garden" and "Some Time We'll Understand," accompanied by Mrs. A. P. Stewart. Pallbearers were Don Galusha, Max Galusha, Curtis Roper, Harry Kelch, Derald Cudaback and Clyde Jacobsen. Interment was in the Fairmont Cemetery, with the Fairmont Odd Fellow Lodge in charge.
