Larson, 76, of 1331 Chester avenue, died at 1:15 a.m. today at the Ottumwa hospital. She had been a resident of Ottumwa nearly all her life. The daughter of John M. and Ingrid [sic] Nelson, she was born in Halland, Sweden January 1, 1876 and came to the United States when she was 5 years old. The daughter of John M. and Ingrid [sic] Nelson, she was born in Halland, Sweden January 1, 1876 and came to the United States when she was 5 years old. She was married to Joseph Larson, June 27, 1901, in Minneapolis, Minn. Mrs. Larson was a member of the First Lutheran church and was an honorary life member of the women's missionary society of the church. She was also a member of the church's Concordia society. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Delph Orman of Ottumwa, Mrs. Bert Faulkner and Mrs. F.W. Faulkner, both of Keosauqua; two granddaughters, Sharel Marie and Judith Jo Faulkner of Keosauqua; one sister, Mrs. Fred Goff of Ottumwa. She was preceded in death by her husband, February 23, 1941, an infant son, four brothers, and two sisters. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the First Lutheran church in charge of the Rev. Malvin H. Lundeen. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery. The casket will be taken from the Johnson funeral chapel to the home Sunday morning and will be moved to the church at 9 a.m. Monday. The casket will be closed at the beginning of the service.
