On November 30, 1937 he was united in marriage to Edna Mae Neighbor. He attended school in Hepburn, Iowa and worked for Marion Needham for more than 25 years. On November 30, 1937 he was united in marriage to Edna Mae Neighbor. He attended school in Hepburn, Iowa and worked for Marion Needham for more than 25 years. He was preceded in death by his father and mother and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Edan; two children Albert and Johnnie Mae Larson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Nancy and Jim Lyons of Kingsville, Missouri; one sister Carrie Taylor of Clarinda, Iowa; five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and many friends. Services were held Tuesday, May 9, 1978 at 3:00 p.m. at the Advent Christian Church with Reverend Melvin White and Reverend Dennis Neal officiating. Flower bearers were Mrs. Earl Sickels, Mrs. Reva Marsh, and Mrs. Dennis Neal. Music was provided by Jim Dunbar and accompanied by Mrs. Neal Gray. Musical selections were “How Great Thou Art” and “God Will Take Care Of You.” Mrs. Julia Sprague and Mrs. Robert Freshour were in charge of the registry. Honorary Casket bearers were Ted McCoy, T. E. Nisely, Harry Wagge, Kenneth Gray, Ivan Johnson, and Richard Wright. Casket bearers were Harold Larson, Ed Weiner, Walter Wood, Earl Sickels, Beryle Berry, and Birge Geer.
