Mr. Jensen was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on March 20, 1883. He was 70 years old. He lived in Omaha until he was seven years old and then moved to a farm at Lamona, Iowa, for a few years. Mr. Jensen was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on March 20, 1883. He was 70 years old. He lived in Omaha until he was seven years old and then moved to a farm at Lamona, Iowa, for a few years. Then the family moved to a farm northeast of Lyons. On February 27, 1907, he was married to Jennie Maw of Lyons. They lived at Lyons until he retired in 1944, when they moved to Fremont. Mrs. Jensen passed away in February 1949. He is survived by five children, Orville and Lester both of Fremont; Ruth of Corvallis, Oregon; Mrs. Virgil Gelski of Holbrook, Arizona; and Ernest of Walthill; four grandchildren, three sisters all of Los Angeles, California; and one brother Andrew of Bridgeport, Nebraska. Daughter Ruth has made her home with her father for the last four years, during his illness. Services were held Tuesday, January 20, at 2 p.m. in the Presbyterian Church in Lyons with Rev. Forrest Grimm officiating. Burial was in the Lyons Cemetery under direction of Fred Bader Funeral Home.
